Purchased refurbished from Tiger Direct. It is directly connected to my Directv receiver with the optical connection. The TV is a 42-inch LCD Vizio. Comparing the TV sound bar sound. The sound is pure bar and feel like I'm there to watch the game or a movie, it's surrounding. Is not connected to a subwoofer. This is not to create a true home theater room use, but for a secondary space for about $ 80 dollars is a great value. Eye renovated jewelMint, and when I read the instructions that the sound should be sent to the Bar in PCM, Dolby Digital receiver should be off to Medium, then set up was simple. Great bang for the buck!

Great sound from a small package and price – John Mountain – West of Knoxville TN
Bought a Vizio LCD TV (yet) arrived and was concerned about the sound. I have a Toshiba rear projector now and the sound very well. If you do not want to trade at the bottom of the picture and sound. So I bought a Vizio VSB200 and a Yamaha YST-SW315 subwoofer. Great sound! Steve Earl try some tests to the sound range. I'm impressed! Can not wait to get on TV. I wanted to buy an AV receiver and speakers and move the VSB200 in the bedroom, but I think the installation is to get the job done. Couldthe other means to buy the bedroom.

I hate being the bearer of bad news, but I had to write this as I have this thing in my house right now. It as soon as I wrote this and returned packed to the point of departure. I hate him. This bar sound is exactly what I was looking for. It fits along the bottom of the TV and do not block the TV. It seems that is not ours. The sound is not great but certainly better than TV.br /
